Honoring Dr. A. Oveta Fuller

M&I is pleased to announce the creation of the A. Oveta Fuller Memorial Award Fund.

The A. Oveta Fuller Memorial Award Fund was created in memory of Dr. Fuller, in July 2023. Gifts to this fund will support the A. Oveta Fuller Award which will be given to a promising young scientist working in an area relevant to public health. The awardee will give a memorial lecture in Ann Arbor and receive a cash prize. This award will recognize people doing outstanding work aligned with Dr Fuller’s values and also help support remarkable young scientists in this area. 

We are very grateful to be able to honor Dr. Fuller with this Memorial Award Fund, thanks to her family’s generosity. We hope that you too will contribute to this fund as a way of honoring Oveta’s memory and continuing her legacy. Our goal is to make the A. Oveta Fuller Award a very prestigious recognition in Dr. Fuller’s field.
