    Kelly Michele Malloy MD, MBA, FACS is a head and neck surgical oncologist at the University of Michigan where she is professor of otolaryngology- head and neck surgery and Chief Clinical Officer for the adult hospitals of Michigan Medicine Health. Dr. Malloy's clinical work focuses on the comprehensive surgical management of patients with head and neck malignancies, with additional expertise in head and neck melanoma and complex microvascular free tissue reconstruction. Her primary research interest is in surgical education, specifically in applications of simulation in otolaryngology; she is the immediate past chair of the Simulation Education Committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Malloy is the program director of the head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstruction fellowship at Michigan; she is committed to the daily work of training the next generation of comprehensive head and neck surgeons and increasing the diversity of our field to better serve our patients. She also serves as the associate chief clinical officer for adult surgical and rehabilitation services at Michigan Medicine Health, overseeing 10 surgical and rehabilitation inpatient care units and a 32 room operating theater suite. A passionate advocate for gender and racial equity and inclusion, she has served as the inaugural co-chair for the American Head and Neck Society's Margaret F. Butler Outstanding Mentor of Women in Head and Neck Surgery Award. Most recently she was elected Finance Officer of the Women In Otolaryngology (WIO) Section and chairs the WIO Endowment Committee.
