    Dr. Clinton D. Cochran is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at University of Michigan Health and Michigan Medicine. He is a member of the outreach faculty group which focuses on providing a Michigan Congenital Heart Center clinical presence across the state of Michigan.

    Dr. Cochran has a passion for clinical medicine and enjoys caring for patients with complex congenital heart disease from fetal life through adulthood. He strives to educate patients and families and guide them through difficult times and decisions. He enjoys educating families to create a culture of shared decision making. He is an enthusiastic educator and provides bedside teaching to medical students, medical residents and cardiology fellows from several different institutions.

    Dr. Cochran received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine in 2013 and completed his Pediatrics Residency at the University of Michigan in 2016. He then stayed on for his Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Michigan which he completed in 2019. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Oakland University/William Beaumont School of Medicine where he served Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and Beaumont Hospital, Troy from 2019 through 2021. He returned to the University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center as a faculty member in January 2022 where he continues to practice.
