I was in search of a program where I would be clinically well trained, challenged, and supported. I chose U-M because this program has an excellent reputation for taking great care of its residents, fostering an inclusive community, building leaders in the field of anesthesiology, and tackling social issues prevalent in medicine. During my interview, I felt like the faculty were all super down to earth and residents genuinely proud to be a part of this community.
