DLHS’ Lauren McCarthy recognized for Tai Chi Love

Department Senior Applications Analyst, Lauren McCarthy was featured in the University Record for her love of tai chi and her journey to becoming an instructor.

McCarthy has worked with DLHS since 2018, starting on a project with Professor Emeritus James T. Fitzgerald, Ph.D. before moving to full-time in the department, in 2019. She is the go-to in DLHS for all things technology related.

When asked how she felt about being recognized in URecord McCarthy told DLHS Communications: “I’m excited to spread the word so hopefully some people who are looking for a way to maintain their mobility or just decrease stress can benefit.”
