FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If you qualify, participation in this study will take place over about one year. As a participant in this study, you will be asked to either complete one brief phone conversation or complete up to 8 sessions over the phone or video. These sessions can include getting to know you and what’s important to you, looking at how alcohol use and other health behaviors fit with your goals, and other resources for improving your health. You will also be asked to complete an initial assessment (brief survey and interview) and then 3 follow-up assessments across over the next year or so.
While not everyone in our study will benefit, you may find it useful to talk with someone about your health, including alcohol use, and meeting your personal goals. You will also receive health resources and up to $225 across the study period.
If you join the In.Reach study, your information and participation will be kept confidential and secure. Information collected about you in this study (e.g., survey answers, interviews) will not be directly tied to your name, address, or other personal information.
To find out whether you qualify, we’ll ask you some questions. You can complete the survey by clicking the link below and entering your password if you received an email from us. You can call us to complete the survey by phone or see if you are eligible to complete the survey.
