Why U-M Anesthesiology: I really enjoyed my time here as a resident and knew it was a special department. Being away for a couple of years made me appreciate it even more. I wanted to be a part of collaborative department that excels in all areas, with many opportunities for faculty development, while also taking care of very complex patients.

Hobbies: I enjoy cycling, golfing and spending weekends with my family on Lake Michigan.

Why U-M Anesthesiology: I was attracted to Michigan because of its national recognition as a top anesthesiology department. In addition to having the privilege to care for complex patients on a day-to-day basis, everyone I met was warm, welcoming and genuinely loved their job at Michigan. I knew it was a great place to begin my career!

Hobbies: I enjoy fitness activities like hot yoga and pilates and am a bit of a bookworm. I am having a blast exploring Ann Arbor and attending Michigan football games — Go Blue!

Why U-M Anesthesiology: After being away for four years, I’ve realized how great the people are in this department. Everybody works together as a team to provide the best care for our patients and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to be back. I’m excited to work at both U-H and Mott and to work with residents and medical students again!

Hobbies: I really enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys, watching/playing sports, enjoying the outdoors, reading and traveling.
