Please join the department in welcoming Dr. Jay (Zhe) Zhang to Pharmacology!

Jay Zhang
Dr. Zhang will be a visiting scholar in the Isom lab for the next two years.  He is a resident physician in the Department of Neurology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He graduated with honors in 2015 from the College of Life Sciences at Peking University, earning a Bachelor of Science. In 2019, he received his Doctor of Medicine from the School of Medicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is currently a neurology resident physician at Peking Union Medical College Hospital.
 
Dr. Zhang’s research interests include genetic mechanisms of epilepsy, and the role of neuro-immune mechanisms in epilepsy. His clinical interests focus on dizziness and vestibular disorders, epileptology, and hereditary neurological disorders. Dr. Zhang has published several research papers and, as a Co-Principal Investigator, has led multiple clinical research projects.
