Two Michigan Medicine surgery residency programs are top in the nation in latest Doximity rankings

The 2024-2025 Doximity Residency Navigator rankings are out, and the Department of Surgery continues to excel in its commitment to providing a high-quality training experience for its residents.

Out of 358 programs, our surgery residency program is ranked number one nationwide – a spot proudly held by the department for the past few years.

For plastic surgery residency specifically, the program ranked number three, which is an exciting move up from last year’s spot at number four.

Doximity’s Residency Navigator is a tool designed to help medical students find the right training program for them. Our residency program’s rankings were based on a variety of data collected by Doximity to establish a reputation score, including survey responses from current residents and recently graduated alumni.
