About This Event

Take a look at the infrastructure and partnerships accelerating the Michigan Genomics Initiative at Michigan Medicine.

Join the Central Biorepository (CBR) for a virtual session exploring how interdepartmental collaborations among the Michigan Genomics Initiative (MGI), CBR, AI & Digital Health Innovation (AI&DHI), and Pathology’s division of Diagnostic Genetics & Genomics (DGG) are creating a win-win for investigators advancing genomic research and clinical care at Michigan Medicine.

Topics include:

  • An overview of MGI and its goal of collecting whole-genome sequences
  • CBR infrastructure support, including sample collection, consent, cataloging, storage, and processing
  • Learn about the rigorous QA/QC of biospecimens data and its importance to data integrity
  • The availability of biospecimens and genetic data linked to the electronic health record (EHR)

To submit questions in advance, email [email protected].
