About This Event

The Social Science and Medicine Hub sits within the Center for History, Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences and Ethics in Medicine (CHHASSEM) at the UM Medical School. The mission of SSM Hub is to grow connections between social and medical sciences at the University of Michigan and accelerate innovative interdisciplinary research being jointly conducted by social and medical scientists. We use a living laboratory model to develop and test novel collaboration-building strategies and mechanisms that can be replicated across the University and the nation.

UM Social Science and Medicine Hub Co-directors Julie Maslowsky, PhD, and Scott Stonington, MD, PhD, cordially invite social science and medical researchers to attend a dinner reception featuring keynote speakers, an introduction to the Hub, creative networking, and funding announcements.
