David Canter, MD, is currently a lecturer in the Ross Business School and a past-Sr. Assoc. V.P. and Executive Director, North Campus Research Complex at The University of Michigan, retiring in 2018. Other past positions include the Director of Healthcare at The William Davidson Institute, Senior Vice President of Pfizer Global Research and Development, Director of the Institut de Recherche et Development, Jouveinal in Paris, and VP Drug Development for Parke-Davis/Warner-Lambert. He is a graduate of Cambridge and Liverpool Universities, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, and a member of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Physicians.
