Elizabeth Bernstein is a founding Partner and current Head of Public Equities at Cercano Management LLC, an investment manager representing several families and their foundations since its inception in January 2022. She works closely with Cercano’s private investing teams to advise investments in private healthcare investing. 

Elizabeth was previously a Portfolio Manager on the public equity team at Vulcan Capital, the anchor client of Cercano. Before joining Vulcan Capital, Elizabeth was a Portfolio Manager at Invesco on the Mid-Cap Growth fund and supported healthcare sector investments for the Small-Cap Discovery and Global Small & Mid-Cap Growth funds. She started her investing career at Allianz Global Investors Capital (Nicolas Applegate), investing in international small-cap companies. Before investing, Elizabeth was a Vice President at Bank of America, covering the biopharmaceutical industry. 

Elizabeth received her BA, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Elizabeth sits on a Scientific Advisory Committee advising grant awards on behalf of the Medical School at the University of Michigan.
