The new website will offer a streamlined ordering solution – no more emailing PDF forms or looking up shortcodes. Simply follow the link, sign in, and order. Customers will be notified via email, and the information will be available on our website, research-store.umich.edu

The BRCF Research Store web launch will allow customers to have instant shortcode verification and real-time order tracking.

“We are very excited about this new platform. The new website should streamline the ordering process for customers,” said Stephen Russell, The Research Store Director. “Orders can still be picked up at any of our four locations (MSRB II, BSRB, NCRC, and LSI/Mary Sue Coleman Hall) or delivered within the NCRC complex.”

The Research Store has strategic partnerships with 15 vendors, which allows them to offer thousands of products that labs need.

“Additionally, we are proud to contribute to the university’s sustainability goals. Using The Research Store helps our community have a smaller carbon footprint through consolidated orders, less cardboard use, and less plastic waste,” said The Research Store Manager Terri Kirkup.

Any U-M employee with an active uniqname and an active U-M shortcode in iLabs can purchase from The Research Store using their UMICH login.

“Stop by any of our Research Store locations to get a free Sharpie with our new website link to celebrate the launch,” said Russell.
