    Carleigh Zahn, D.O. is a Clinical Assistant Professor. She is a native Michigander who received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine and her adult Rheumatology Fellowship training at the University of Iowa. Dr. Zahn was previously an Assistant Professor at the University of Toledo in their Rheumatology division and was the Associate Program Director for their Rheumatology Fellowship Program. She is invested in medical learner and patient education.

    Dr. Zahn is delighted to be back in her home state, enjoying the next chapter of her career with Michigan Medicine. She is working within the Scleroderma Program, focusing on Scleroderma, including clinical trials. She also sees general rheumatology patients at her satellite clinic location.

    As of January 2024, Dr. Zahn has opened the Rheumatologic Raynaud Clinic, where she serves as the Director. The clinic is housed within the Scleroderma Program and specializes in the evaluation of Raynaud's disease in relation to rheumatology, especially presentation in early rheumatologic disease. The clinic utilizes nailfold videocapillaroscopy to assist with early diagnosis and detection.
