    Dr. Newman-Casey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences. She is the co-director of the Kellogg Eye Center for eHealth, an endeavor that seeks to improve eye health and ophthalmic health delivery through leveraging novel technologies. She also directs the eye center’s outreach initiative to provide free ophthalmic care for all patients referred through the local free clinic, Hope Clinic. After graduating from Reed College and the University of Michigan School of Medicine, Dr. Newman-Casey completed her ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at the University of Michigan. Duringher fellowship, she earned a Masters in Health and Health Care Research through the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Master’s Program at the University of Michigan.
