    My professional interests center around providing generalized inpatient care in the hospital while identifying clinical research problems and developing bioengineering-inspired solutions in the lab: from bedside to bench. I enjoy working with diverse patient populations of all ages and backgrounds.

    Research Overview

    My research focuses on nucleic acid-based diagnostics and therapeutics to address unmet clinical needs. I am developing rapid, culture-free methods for microbial identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing, with the goal of improving outcomes in sepsis and addressing antibiotic resistance.
