  • About

My professional interests center around providing generalized inpatient care in the hospital while identifying clinical research problems and developing bioengineering-inspired solutions in the lab: from bedside to bench. I enjoy working with diverse patient populations of all ages and backgrounds.

    Research Overview

My current research expertise is in nucleic acid-based diagnostics and therapeutics. I am using this to develop a diagnostic device that is intended to identify the causative pathogen in sepsis in under an hour with the goal of improving patient outcomes and addressing emerging antibiotic resistance.

My research broadly focuses on creating nucleic acid-based diagnostics and therapeutics to address unmet clinical needs. Currently, my research entails developing a novel diagnostic device capable of identifying causative pathogens in sepsis in just a few hours, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and addressing emerging antibiotic resistance.
