  • About

I am a health outcomes researcher and geriatrician. I develop health services methods to measure the quality of care and outcomes delivered to older adults in the ambulatory care setting. My more recent contributions to the science include a fall injury algorithm and hypertension intensity of care measure for use in healthcare systems across ambulatory and acute care settings. I am currently studying the effects of disrupted ambulatory care on quality of care and ambulatory-care sensitive hospitalizations for older Veterans with hypertension, heart failure, and fall prevention during the Covid-19 pandemic in the VA healthcare system.
