    Research Overview

Examining the comparative effectiveness of endovascular interventions for the treatment of PAD

Understanding provider influences on treatment decisions for patients with claudication

Disparities in the access to and treatment of vascular disease- Examine the factors that lead to existing disparities in the access to surgical care, and that influence the quality of surgical care.

    Surgical quality in vascular surgery
    a. Assessing existing quality measures in vascular surgery and developing novel quality measures to better identify high and low performing hospitals, and surgeons.
    b. Developing collaboratives across regions and specialties to improve the care of patients with peripheral vascular disease.

Understanding the effect the dissemination of new technology on the access to and treatment of vascular disease.
