About
The Clinician-Educator pathway best aligns with my passions, accomplishments, and goals as an academic clinician educator. My contributions have been as a leader in competency-based education and assessment for medical students, neurology residents and sleep medicine fellows. I serve in institutional and national leadership roles for competency-based medical education initiatives, with multiple publications and presentations about how to implement competency-based education at different stages of medical education. My clinical interests and expertise in multidisciplinary treatments for obstructive sleep apnea have driven many of my research collaborations, publications, and national presentations. My expertise and insight about competency-based growth and development has allowed me to serve as an advisor and mentor for individuals at all phases of medical education.
