About
Deborah Levine, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor of internal medicine in the Division of General Medicine at U-M, where her clinical practice is as a hospitalist and clinic physician. She is also part of the Center for Clinical Management Research at the Ann Arbor VA Health Services Research & Development Center of Excellence. Levine’s research interests are to improve care and to reduce health disparities in cardiovascular disease including stroke. Most recently, she has been studying cognitive outcomes after stroke. Her current research seeks to understand the predictors and long-term trajectory of cognitive decline after stroke.
Levine received her medical degree from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, her Master of Public Health from the Harvard University School of Public Health, and her Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Bowdoin College.
