About
Dr Jihoon Baang earned his medical degree from Yonsei University in South Korea and finished his training in internal medicine and infectious diseases at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan. He works as a clinician educator and is the associate director of antimicrobial stewardship at Michigan Medicine and teaches multiple courses to students at the University of Michigan Medical school. He has won multiple teaching awards and has presented at regional and national conferences in the field of medical education. He also worked with Doctors without Borders and was responsible for the MDR tuberculosis program in Armenia. He is currently a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America and has been inducted into the Academiae Laureati Medici, the clinical excellence society at the University of Michigan.
