Matthew Patrick, MEng, PhD is a Research Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Michigan Medical School, and is a member of the Cutaneous Bioinformatics Research Program. Dr. Patrick is pursuing research focused upon translational bioinformatics, particularly on providing biological inference from high dimensional data for dermatological research.
Dr. Patrick received his PhD in Computer Science from University of York in the United Kingdom in 2013. He completed postdoctoral research training in Epidemiology and Modelling at the University of Cambridge before joining the U-M Department of Dermatology in 2016 as a postdoctoral research fellow working with Dr. Lam C. (Alex) Tsoi in the Cutaneous Bioinformatics Program. He joined the U-M Department of Dermatology faculty in 2020.
