Dr. Zaltz is an orthopedic surgeon with a specialty in Pediatric Scoliosis and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He also participated in a Massachusetts General Hospital Surgical Internship.
Dr. Zaltz has several professional affiliations, including the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America, and the Michigan Orthopedic Society. He is also an ANCHOR co-chair.
Dr. Zaltz has participated in a variety of research throughout his career. His resume includes a long list of publications across a wide variety of areas, both as a principal author and a co-author of original papers in peer-reviewed journals. Along with his breadth of research and studies, Dr. Zaltz has several years of teaching experience around the world.
Dr. Zaltz has received several awards and honors over the years, including the Best Teacher Award in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in 2005 and the Outstanding Basic Science Paper from the POSNA Annual Meeting in 2008.
