About
Dr. Pugashetti is an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan, in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. After receiving her undergraduate degree from UCLA, she went on to receive her medical degree, Internal Medicine training, and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at UC Davis. Dr. Pugashetti has also completed a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology. She joined Michigan Medicine in 2022, where she now provides expert care for patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD) at the Taubman Pulmonary Clinic. She also staffs the Taubman Connective Tissue Disease-Associated ILD Clinic (CTD-ILD) where she works closely alongside Rheumatology colleagues. She leads the Interstitial Lung Disease program at the Ann Arbor VA.
Dr. Pugashetti is interested in the intersection between autoimmune disease and lung disease. She is an emerging expert in CTD-ILD and is NIH-funded to study predictive biomarkers to guide therapeutic selection, thereby improving outcomes for patients with CTD-ILD.
