    Research Overview

    1. The integration of computational tools including machine learning and artificial intelligence into perioperative decision-making to improve outcomes and to narrow sociodemographic disparities.

    2. The identification and mitigation of sociodemographic disparities in pre-operative surgical decision-making and post-operative complications.

    3. Assessment and identification of how medical comorbidity impacts perioperative outcomes in trauma and general surgery.
