About

Raven's long-term research objective is to understand the relationship between sleep disturbances and cognitive decline that arise during aging. His research will characterize how sleep architecture, memory function, and brain activity change prior to, and during, aging and Alzheimer’s disease progression. His research employs genetically diverse mouse lines, to characterize changes in sleep architecture and brain activity over the course of aging, and link them to Alzheimer’s disease.
