    Research Overview

    Assessment of UTI short versus long antibiotic durations for uncomplicated UTI in hospitalized patients. Quality work improving guideline concordant short durations for uncomplicated UTI across the state of Michigan.

    Outpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship: Assessing antibiotic utilization in the ambulatory clinics and ED for
    SSTI, CAP, UTI, and URTI. Strategies to improve antibiotic use for common ID conditions in the ambulatory setting.
    Have created a bundled approach to successfully improve CAP and SSTI duration in ambulatory clinics.

    Assessment of outcomes for immunocompromised patients with CAP treated with broad spectrum vs targeted CAP therapy.
