Patrick O'Brien

Patrick O’Brien received Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Neuroscience from Loyola University Chicago in 2019. In 2022, Patrick moved to Ann Arbor and joined the Parkos and Nusrat group where he performed epithelial primary cell culture. Patrick joined the Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS) graduate program in 2024 before joining the lab of J. Michelle Kahlenberg, where he studies type I and type III interferons in lupus.
