An educational bipolar disorder Instagram, @best.life.bipolar, shares research from the Prechter Program

Dr. Andrea Vassilev is a Psychological Associate, collaborator with the International Society of Bipolar Disorders (ISBD), and also lives with bipolar disorder. Dr. Vassilev runs an educational bipolar disorder Instagram account and with the goal of translating research into information the average person will find interesting and can apply to their lives. She recently posted research from Dr. Sperry and Dr. Hanjoo Kim that explores the Contrast Avoidance Model in bipolar disorder. Read more about the publication here.

Launched by our CCMU team in February 2025, the 3 Wishes Program helps patient-facing clinicians and staff honor and support patients nearing the end of life in the medical ICU.
