NeuroNetwork Managing Director Wins Office of Research Award

NeuroNetwork for Emerging Therapies Managing Director Stacey Jacoby, Ph.D., was recently honored with the Research Study Manager Recognition Award from the University of Michigan Office of Research.
Dr. Jacoby was among the individuals receiving the 2024 Research Staff Awards at a ceremony in University Hall on June 6, 2024. Dr. Jacoby's parents, husband and two sons, and colleagues from the NeuroNetwork for Emerging Therapies were in attendance. The awards are given by the U-M Office of Research “to recognize members of its research community whose work helps advance knowledge, solve challenging problems, create new products and enhance the quality of life.”
In her nomination of Dr. Jacoby, James W. Albers Distinguished University Professor Eva Feldman, M.D., Ph.D., stated: “I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Jacoby, initially as a research fellow in my laboratory and now in her current role as Managing Director of the NeuroNetwork for Emerging Therapies. Throughout her tenure, I have consistently been impressed by her exceptional work ethic, leadership acumen, scientific enthusiasm, ambition, and unwavering dedication. The high operational standards of my laboratory owe an incredible amount to Dr. Jacoby’s invaluable contributions.“
Upon receiving the award, Dr. Jacoby said, “I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the exceptional NeuroNetwork team and that I get to support such important research every day. I am honored that my colleagues nominated me and that my contributions were recognized through this award.”
