The official source of the American Academy of Neurology intereviewed her for an article titled "How Brooke Eby is Using Humor and Honesty to Redefine Life with ALS."
We are currently studying human neural stem cells and their potential role in preventing the onset of, or slowing the progression of, Alzheimer’s disease. This image was taken to understand the cell types that engineered stem cells form, so that we can understand how they might play a role in treating this disease.  Oligodendrocytes or Astrocytes (red) provide structural and metabolic support to neurons. Neurons are stained in green, and the cell nuclei in blue.
