Behavioral & Neuropharmacology
The overarching goal of our research programs in Behavioral and Neuropharmacology is to develop a deep, mechanistic understanding of receptor-mediated and electrical-based signaling pathways and circuits underlying normal neurophysiology and then to extend that knowledge to understand and treat neurological and psychiatric disease.
Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of safe and effective therapeutic agents for complex neurological disorders.
