Your application should be accompanied by your:
- Curriculum vitae
- Medical school transcripts
- Three letters of reference
- A personal statement
The Dean’s Letter from your medical school should be released and downloaded to ERAS. In addition, applicants must have completed USMLE Step 2.
All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee, which will be comprised of the Program Director, Associate Program Director, Residents and several faculty members. Interviews will on site and invitations will be sent via Thalamus. The day will consist of meetings with various faculty and residents.
The program start date is July 1, 2028.

Application Timeline
| Sept. 2, 2026 | Applicants can start applying to residency programs in ERAS. |
| Oct. 13, 2026 | The UM RadOnc Residency Admissions committee will begin to review applications submitted through ERAS. |
| October 2026 - January 2027 | Candidates are contacted and scheduled for interviews at the University of Michigan. |
