Join the Grant Services and Analysis Research Development (RD) team on Zoom every third Thursday at 2:00 pm for the Funding Forum – a 60-minute session designed to help UMMS faculty gain an advantage in grant seeking and proposal development.
The Funding Forum provides an opportunity to learn about critical and timely grant themes, ask questions, and engage with RD specialists and invited subject matter experts to enhance your funding strategy. Each session will feature a short presentation on one or more grant-related topics, followed by open discussion and Q&A.
Whether you’re developing a new proposal, responding to a sponsor requirement, or seeking guidance in a shifting funding landscape, the Funding Forum is a supportive way to get expert answers and move your work forward. Participants can expect:
- Updates and guidance on key grant processes and requirements
- Practical insight from grant specialists
- Time for live questions and shared experiences
- A clearer path to your next steps

Please note that the Funding Forum is intended to support UMMS faculty. Sessions are capped at 300 Zoom participants to encourage questions and engagement, and UMMS faculty will be prioritized if the number of participants exceeds capacity. The informational presentation portion of each session will be recorded for broader distribution to the UMMS research community.
