The mechanisms and measurement of conscious experience are among the most fundamental questions in science, with profound philosophical and clinical implications.

About

The mission of the CCS is to advance multidisciplinary research, education, and clinical care as it relates to consciousness.

Research

We employ multimodal neuroimaging in our human protocols as well as neurophysiology and neurochemistry in our laboratories.

People

Our faculty currently represent fields such as neuroscience, anesthesiology, neurology, psychiatry, neurosurgery, biomedical engineering, and physics.

Education

The Center for Consciousness Science is passionate about educating the next generation and the public about consciousness.
