Education/Outreach | Parkinson's Foundation
Learning, Outreach & Advocacy
Education is a cornerstone of the Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence at the University of Michigan. The center offers a wide range of programs designed to inform and empower people living with Parkinson’s disease, their care partners and the healthcare professionals who serve them. Through workshops, support groups, professional training and community outreach, the center ensures that up-to-date knowledge and practical tools are accessible to all. By fostering understanding and building skills, these education initiatives strengthen the ability of patients and families to manage the disease while also enhancing the quality of care provided across the medical community.
