Train and practice with the University of Michigan Medical School Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in our robust academic, clinical, and common facilities and spaces. Students and trainees get ready for practice in our anatomy labs, which are student led and faculty supervised. Explore the clinical spaces where patient care is delivered, including our state-of-the-art Pediatric Emergency Department which is dedicated to care delivery for patients through age 20. Our common spaces include a full wellness center on-site at University Hospital South, where trainees, physicians, and staff can get in a workout between shifts.

University Hospital Emergency Department
The Michigan Medicine Emergency Department is a Level One trauma center, ranked as having the highest level of care available for emergency health care.
