Apply for Summer Internship | MCORRP
Eligibility & Application Requirements
Eligibility
All undergraduate, graduate, and medical students with an interest in cardiovascular research are eligible to apply. Recent graduates and international students with the proper documentation are also eligible. MCORRP is not currently accepting high school applicants or "rising" college freshmen.
Applicants are evaluated on the quality of application materials, academic performance, leadership experience, and community service. Upon acceptance into the program, interns are required to complete a background check and drug screening.
How to Apply
Interested students will be asked to submit a cover letter and current resume or curriculum vitae by January 31st.
No applications received after this time will be reviewed. The cover letter should contain the following:
- What you are currently doing (e.g. your major, current grade, etc.)
- Your future career and life goals
- What you hope to learn from this experience
- Why you feel you would be a good fit for the program
