MIITT MRI Research

Learn about our exciting work

MIITT research emphasizes improving patient care and experience while improving clinical efficiency and reducing costs. MIITT researchers are involved in quantitative MRI, fast imaging, interventional MRI, and accessibility of medical imaging for applications including cardiac, abdominal, prostate, brain, bladder, and musculoskeletal imaging. We develop and deploy techniques such as Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF), parallel imaging, compressed sensing, machine learning, low-field MRI systems, and unique interventional tools to address some of the biggest imaging challenges in current clinical practice. While many of our faculty are focused on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) research, our projects also include the use of other imaging modalities.

MIITT is comprised of nine faculty members and their unique research programs. Select a faculty lab below to find their publications list in PubMed and learn more about the exciting work that we are doing.
