The faculty within the PET center employ post-doctoral fellows, as well as mentor graduate and undergraduate students in multiple departments across the University of Michigan campus.

Dr. Peter Scott has appointments in the departments of Medicinal Chemistry in the College of Pharmacy, and Radiology and Pharmacology in the Medical School. Prospective graduate students for his group can apply through the Medicinal Chemistry program in the College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Ansel Hillmer is appointed through the Radiology Department of the Medical School. Prospective graduate students for his group can apply through the Neuroscience Graduate Program or Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering.

Prospective undergraduate student researchers can apply through the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP).
