Learning While Serving

Gain hands-on experience, develop research skills and contribute meaningfully to improve outcomes for critically ill or injured patients.

Apply

Research at the Weil Institute covers a broad spectrum of critical care solutions, characterized by highly collaborative projects. The diversity of faculty research projects is a great match for the many interests students in the medical school, engineering, data sciences, biomedical sciences, basic sciences, and many more might have.

Submit a volunteer interest form to see if there is a match with your own research interests.

Interest form

A member of the Weil team will review your information and do our best to match you with a current project within the Weil network. Please note: active projects change periodically, so we cannot guarantee that a specific researcher or area of research will be available.

The scope of work for each volunteer opportunity will be unique to the researcher and/or project. Once matched, the PI or another representative from the project will reach out to discuss these parameters.
