Xerox Printing Support - Who to call for printing support.
Recycling old cartridges, Xerox Green World Alliance offers a recycling program, see their website for the details. Staples also offers a toner recycling program. Contact Research Services at (734) 763-0773 or email [email protected] for program details, and pick up services.
Keep Printer Cartridges Out of the Recycling Bins
While printer cartridges are made of plastic, they are not accepted in U-M recycling bins. When placed in these bins, they are a contaminant and make the recycling process much less efficient.
If you have printer cartridges to recycle, please work with Mikan Corporation, U-M’s strategic supplier for re-manufactured cartridges, to recycle these items. Please contact them at [email protected]. They will deliver a collection box and pick it up when filled. If you are a Mikan customer, used cartridges are collected with every new order delivery. If you’re not a Mikan customer, please collect at least 10 used cartridges before contacting Mikan for a pickup or contact your current cartridge vendor.
Departments with a Xerox managed multi-function device should contact Xerox.
Toner tubes are not accepted for recycling.
