Systems Biology
Systems biology can mean many things.
In the U-M Medical School Department of Microbiology & Immunology, we consider systems biology to be research that investigates interactions between body systems, interactions between endogenous and pathogenic microbes, interactions of microbes and hosts to regulate disease and use of multi-omic and computational technologies to address important questions in biology.
