2025 CRN Annual Scientific Symposium
The 2025 CRN Symposium, held on September 29th, was a resounding success, bringing together researchers, clinicians and students for a dynamic day of cardiovascular science and collaboration. The event featured a compelling keynote address by Dr. Barry Coller, engaging research updates from across the network, and a vibrant poster session showcasing innovative work from early-career investigators.
Attendees had the opportunity to connect during dedicated networking sessions and a lively social gathering that closed the day on a high note. The symposium also spotlighted excellence in research through social presentations by the top three poster submissions, selected from a competitive pool of entries.
Thanks to the thoughtful planning of the organizing team, the symposium fostered meaningful dialogue, celebrated scientific achievements, and strengthened the CRN community's commitment to advancing cardiovascular research.
2024 CRN Annual Scientific Symposium
The Cardiovascular Research Network hosted the 1st Annual CRN Scientific Symposium at Palmer Commons on Monday September 23, 2024. The conference welcomed 150 scientists, staff, students and trainees from the University of Michigan to present and collaborate on topics in Cardiovascular Research. The event featured a keynote address by Dr. Nigel Mackman, Ph.D., from UNC, who shared his insights on current advancements in the field. Additionally, there was a poster session where attendees showcased their research, followed by a social event, providing a valuable opportunity for networking and informal discussions among the guests.
