We are committed to conducting research to improve the health and functional outcomes for pregnant and postpartum people with mental health and substance use conditions. Dr. Kara Zivin and her team lead several interrelated studies funded by the National Institutes of Health that examine the impacts of federal and state behavioral health policy changes on clinical and economic outcomes among childbearing people and infants.
