Intimate partner violence (IPV) remains common, with over 7% of U.S. women reporting physical or sexual violence, and/or stalking in the past year. Moreover, nearly 10% of people report experiencing either physical or sexual violence during pregnancy. This study aims to quantify the associations between state laws and IPV rates, IPV-related morbidity and health service use, and mortality among reproductive-aged women.
