The MNI Recruitment Committee is comprised of neuroscientists whose expertise crosses multiple disciplines, departments, and schools.

To facilitate the recruitment of neuroscientists across the University of Michigan campus, the Michigan Neuroscience Institute has created an MNI Recruitment Committee comprised of neuroscientists whose expertise crosses multiple disciplines, departments, and schools.

MNI Recruitment Committee’s Scope

  • Collaborate with academic departments across UM’s campus to assist with the recruitment of exceptional neuroscientists.
  • Provide recruiting departments with an understanding of the UM recruitment landscape related to neuroscientists by informing departments of other potential UM neuroscience recruitments and working to enhance existing research area strengths, address scientific gaps, and identify potential collaboration opportunities.
  • Provide funding to enhance hiring packages to drive recruitment success.
  • Identify opportunities to use funds to enhance diversity in neuroscience.

The Committee is excited to help recruit great neuroscientists into the University of Michigan… this year and into the future!
