Division of Men's Health & Reconstruction

Our division evaluates and manages benign prostate diseases, male infertility, male sexual health and more.

Mission
The mission of the U-M Medical School Department of Urology Division of Men's Health & Reconstruction is to be the national leader in advancing the evaluation and management of benign prostate diseases, male infertility, early detection of prostate cancer, male sexual health, testosterone deficiency and urologic reconstruction. We are equally committed to training the next generation of urologic leaders.

Clinical Care

We provide comprehensive care at our practice locations in Ann Arbor, Brighton and Northville. Our multidisciplinary team includes urologists, primary care physicians specializing in men’s health, and full-time advanced practice providers, offering a full spectrum of medical and surgical care for both men and women.

Education

Our division's educational mission is to train the next generation of urologic leaders by providing comprehensive education in the evaluation and management of prostate cancer, benign prostatic diseases, stricture disease, and male sexual and reproductive health. Through a robust training program, we are committed to educating urology residents, mentoring medical students and postdoctoral fellows, and engaging undergraduate students in both clinical care and research.

Our faculty provide hands-on learning experiences across our multiple practice sites, ensuring exposure to advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques, including minimally invasive procedures and innovative therapies. Additionally, we foster a dynamic research environment where trainees contribute to groundbreaking studies that shape the future of men's health and reconstructive urology.

Research

Beyond clinical care, many of our team members are actively involved in cutting-edge research, driving innovations that shape the future of urologic practice.
