Pediatric Urology
Division of Pediatric Urology
We translate scientific discoveries into advanced, compassionate care for our patients.
Clinical Care
We address the diagnosis and surgical management of abnormalities involving the kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra, and the reproductive organs of children. Our board-certified urologists, nurse-practitioners and experienced nurses are specially equipped to evaluate and treat children of all ages.
Education
Our division is dedicated to educating the future leaders in pediatric urology through exceptional clinical training, innovative research, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and hands-on educational experience for learners at all levels, equipping them with the knowledge, technical skills, and compassionate approach necessary to deliver outstanding urologic care to children. Through mentorship and a collaborative learning environment, we strive to shape the next generation of pediatric urologists who will push the boundaries of patient care and scientific discovery.
Research
Our faculty’s research background allows for additional understanding of urologic conditions, making University of Michigan Health and C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital leaders in the field of pediatric urology.
This diverse range of research activities and interests converge to give the team a unique level of understanding of the many factors that cause and affect urologic conditions. This expertise also allows us to create individualized treatment plans including a combination of medications, behavioral therapy, or surgery.
